National Laboratory to Advance Basic Science

This national-level laboratory is involved in basic studies and technological innovations relating to microstructures.  It addresses the urgent demands for a sustainable development of information technology in the modern era. At its core, the program applied science and technology at the quantum level to manipulate newly-designed micro-structured materials.

Research was conducted at fundamental and applied levels and across other disciplines such as physics, chemistry, material science, and micro-electronics, etc. This program is expected to establish a world-class platform for the study of micro-structured materials.
